Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the products and services provided by 26 Degrees Software LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), including the 26 Cloud Platform, ViewAQC, Collectus, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). This AUP is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

1. Permitted use

The Services are designed for legitimate business use within the architecture, engineering, construction, and operations (AEC&O) industry and related fields. You may use the Services to:

• Upload, store, coordinate, and manage BIM models and project data.
• Use our APIs and integrations to connect with authorized third-party tools.
• Generate reports, analytics, and AI-assisted insights for your projects.
• Collaborate with authorized team members and external stakeholders.

2. Prohibited conduct

You may not use the Services to:

• Violate laws or regulations: engage in any activity that violates applicable local, state, national, or international law.
• Infringe intellectual property: upload, distribute, or store content that infringes on the intellectual property rights of others.
• Distribute malware: upload or transmit viruses, worms, ransomware, or other malicious code.
• Unauthorized access: attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, systems, or networks connected to the Services.
• Interfere with the Services: disrupt, degrade, or impair the performance or availability of the Services for other users.
• Circumvent security: bypass, disable, or interfere with security features, authentication mechanisms, or access controls.
• Scrape or harvest data: use automated tools to extract data from the Services beyond what is permitted by your subscription and our APIs.
• Resell without authorization: resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Services without our written consent.
• Store prohibited content: use the Services to store content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Abuse resources: use the Services in a manner that consumes disproportionate resources, including cryptocurrency mining or unrelated compute workloads.

3. Resource limits

Usage of the Services is subject to the limits of your subscription plan (e.g., storage capacity, number of users, API rate limits). If your usage consistently exceeds your plan limits, we may ask you to upgrade or reduce usage.

4. Monitoring and enforcement

• We reserve the right to monitor use of the Services to ensure compliance with this AUP.
• We may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
• If we determine that you have violated this AUP, we may take action including:
  • Issuing a warning and requesting corrective action.
  • Temporarily suspending your access to the Services.
  • Permanently terminating your account.
  • Removing prohibited content.
• Where possible, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the violation before taking action, except where immediate action is necessary to protect the Services or other users.

5. Reporting violations

If you become aware of any violation of this AUP, please report it to us at jason.shebert@26degreesoftware.com.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. We will notify you of material changes with at least 30 days' notice. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of an updated AUP constitutes acceptance.
